Bathroom Finishes

Each fitting and accessory is hand polished prior to plating to give a finish that cannot be replicated by machine. The polished brass items are plated with a primary coat of nickel before final finishes are then applied. These include:

	Chrome: Czech & Speake’s standard finish is a highly reflective silver. Chrome is very hardwearing and requires minimal maintenance.
	Platinum: The platinum finish is a warm silver with hints of pink and gold and a subtle smoky tone. Platinum is a very hardwearing and luxurious alternative to chrome.
	Platinum Matt: The platinum finish is treated by hand to produce a matt effect, bringing out soft gold and ivory tones.
	Durabrass: Most brass tarnishes too readily to be used in bathroom fittings. Czech & Speake use Durabrass™, a gold alloy containing nickel and palladium which give it unique properties. This hardwearing finish resists tarnishing while retaining the rich colour of brass.
